S. Gordon Harwood

S. Gordon Harwood was born in London Ontario. After a short exploration of sculpture, he took up painting in 2004. Since that time, he has twice travelled to Provence to explore the art and the lives of the impressionists; particularly that of Van Gogh and more recently, Cezanne. Currently, he enjoys gestural expression found in art; the ability to evoke emotion through the act of how one holds a limb or body stance. Additionally, many of his pieces conjure up that wonderment of the first gaze of that childhood bicycle or tricycle.

His work is enjoyed in private collections across Canada.
